Kasipreneur Impact Project
The Kasipreneur Impact Project (KIP) backs township foodpreneurs who are serious about growth. We bring real support, skills, networks, and opportunities, so your business can scale, make more money, and succeed. You will also connect with a powerful network of support across amaKasi. You’re not alone.

Aperçu
KIP is grounded in rigorous research, including studies funded by the Walmart Foundation and conducted by ANDE and the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), as well as AMI’s extensive on-the-ground experience across South African townships and other African markets.
Over 15 months, Kasipreneurs will learn core entrepreneurial and strategic practices essential for building a thriving business. Participants will attend live workshops and complete courses that focus on attracting new customers and improving marketing efforts; effectively managing finances to boost profit; streamlining operations and implementing new processes to reduce waste; identifying growth strategies and leveraging tools to increase sales; and implementing people management strategies to attract and retain the best talent.
